Billy & Mouse
My little sister, Teresa told Mom about Billy yesterday -- and I was so happy to hear
that Mom had Teresa laughing over her tale of when Mom and I drove to Delaware
to pick up the 7 1/2 - 8 week old puppy -- who puked the entire ride home. Either
the little guy was sleeping, or if he woke up, he puked. He survived that ride
home. That little puppy and I fell head over heels in love with each other and he
puked in each and every car ride thereafter until he was 9 months old and he and I
went to our first race meet after Kathy Feldman told me about them on Whippet-L
and invited us to Hamilton. He was instantly bunny crazy and that cured him of
carsickness! (and I had done everything possible, all the right things, before then
to cure him!).
I know mom has a soft spot for Billy so I was glad she able to have some happy
memories to share with Teresa. I was concerned that i would be responsible for
bringing Mom down so if Billy's barfing made her laugh then I'm happy. Heck,
hearing the story from Teresa made me smile too :-)
