| It is with a very heavy heart that I let you all know that Saturday April 18th Kevin and I had to say goodbye to a very sweet and precious part of our family. About a week ago, Desi started losing his fight with the cancer in his belly, had stopped eating and I saw the life draining out of him. Kevin was driving back from Arizona and I truly believe that he held on just so he could spend a day with Kevin to say goodbye. Meds could no longer stop the disease, nor ease the pain that was now obvious in his eyes. I knew it was time, and Kevin and I were with him when the time came to let him go with peace and dignity. He is now running free in heaven with his litter brother Billy and with many other members of his family Rest in Peace my little man. We miss you terribly. Lisa & Kevin |
